Parking at Adelaide Airport
There is a multi-level undercover parking lot directly opposite the terminal building. It is up-to-date with electronic signage and lights to guide you to empty spaces, and undercover walkways at ground level and on the second floor connecting the car park with the terminal. You can pay with at a pay machine in the lobby, or save time and just pay direct from your car with a credit card on the way out at the vehicle exit points. Please note there is a height maximum in this carpark of 2.2 metres. Larger vehicles can use the open air carpark. Undercover parking is best for short stays, and rates range from $6 for one hour to $33 for one day.
Long term parking at cheaper rates than the undercover parking can be found in the open-air carpark which is around 7 minutes’ walk from the terminal. It also offers easy credit card payment on the way out direct from your vehicle as well as pay machines located near the entries and exits. Rates are $25 for a day, $50 for three days and $5 per day for additional days. There is a free bus running every 20 minutes between 4:30am and 11:20pm between this carpark and the terminal.
Alternative parking options include companies such as Acacia Airport Parking (www.acaciaairportparking.com.au) which offer secure undercover parking and a free shuttle to drop you off to and pick you up from the airport. The lot is 3 kilometres from the airport, making it a short and easy trip. Acacia opens at 8am and closes at 5pm Monday to Friday, 12pm on Saturdays, and appointments can be made outside of these hours. This is often a low-cost alternative to parking on the airport grounds, and you can add extras on to your parking package- repairs, servicing, car washing and detailing. See the website for more details and rates.
