Adelaide airport has two lounges which belong to the country’s two biggest airlines, Qantas and Virgin Australia.
The Virgin lounge can be found on level 2 near the International Departures. It is available for use by Virgin lounge members, Velocity platinum or gold members, and passengers travelling in first or business class. It is a small but comfortable lounge with some food available, tea and coffee and drinks. There are all the lounge essentials including wireless internet access, newspapers and TVs to keep passengers occupied.
The Qantas lounge is a larger lounge on level 2 near Gate 21. It is open to those travelling on international or domestic flights in Business Class, or First Class, and also to Frequent Flyers of the gold, platinum and ‘platinum one’ levels. Qantas Club members can also use the lounge, and Emirates Skyward platinum or gold members. All those who use the lounge must have a flight that day. The lounge is open from 5am until the last departure, and offers a range of food, bar service, a barista, bathroom facilities, internet access and a comfortable place to relax.
